                              Internet Sites of Prayer:
    Below are just a few of the special sites available to you to help, strengthen and direct you in your prayer needs:

                                      Healing Scripture
                               http://www.healingscripture.com/

    This is an excellent resource site. It has a side menu list of healing
    resources, leading to others and more links .
    This site is a good first choice to visit on the Internet for healing help.

    Below is a statement from their front page.

    Only someone facing or sharing a serious sickness, pain or
    tragedy knows how hard it is.
    -They know how hard it is to cope with the fear and uncertainty.
    -They know how absurd it sounds when someone first tells them
      to "keep a positive attitude".
    -They know how terrifying it is when the doubt comes.
    -They know how hard it is to throw a mountain into the sea.

    But remember what Jesus told us in Matthew 17:19-20 when he said:

    "I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, `Move from here to there' and it I will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."

    Faith as small as a mustard seed sounds a little like hope to me, and that's a good start.

    A special thought that may help...

                      St. Theresa's Prayer:
                    by St. Theresa ("Little Flower")

May today there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and
pass on the love that has been given to you.

May you be content knowing you are a child of God.
Let this presence settle into your bones, and
allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.

It is there for each and every one of us.

      A Prayer Attributed to St. Francis

Lord, make us instruments of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let us sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is discord, union;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy.
Grant that we may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;

and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life
