Welcome to our Health Ministry Services available through Messiah Lutheran Church and the Toledo, Ohio area. We have included suggested medical websites to help increase your knowledge and understanding of many medical concerns.

Each month you will find scheduled activities and events here at Messiah and the local area.

We will also post health tips to help promote the wellness of your entire body physically and mentally.

We hope you will check with us often to see what is new, as well as make regular and frequent use of the resources of our Health Ministry here at Messiah and through this website.

 Sherry, our parish nurse, is a member of the Parish Nurse Association of Northwest Ohio and attends monthly meetings along with about 50 other parish nurses from Protestant and Catholic churches to help her find new and better ways of improving her health ministry here at Messiah Lutheran Church. She is here to help in any way she is able.

The mission  of the Parish Nurse is to promote a life of wellness for members of Messiah Lutheran Church through health related education and counsel offered in the compassionate spirit of Jesus Christ.

We would also appreciate any suggestions you may have to improve, increase or change our services to better meet your needs.

         Church Health Services
         -availability of a parish nurse
         -regular blood pressure testing
         -special health orientated classes

       Scheduled Church Activities
       -Tuesday evening worship service (7:00) 
         includes special healing prayers for
         individuals
       -Special Services of Healing during
